Stewardship & Community | Wiltshire, UK

Supporting a family in the long-term care of a historic English estate. We focused on being good neighbors and reliable partners to the local council, ensuring the property remained a functional part of the village while becoming a wonderful home for the children.

The Goal

A family from South Africa asked us to help them look after Spye Park, a beautiful but complex estate in Wiltshire. They wanted it to be a real, working home—complete with animals and gardens—where their kids could grow up with a sense of adventure.

The Approach

We believe that looking after a historic property is a responsibility to the whole community. We worked closely with the local cricket club and the neighboring village to make sure our plans felt right for the area. By staying in constant contact with the local council and heritage groups, we made sure every renovation was done with respect for the estate’s history.

The Result

We managed the day-to-day details and the budget so the family didn't have to. The estate is now a thriving property with horses and crops, but more importantly, it’s a place where the family feels settled and welcomed by their neighbors.
